Please see the attached updated bus roster.
There is no longer a need for a second staff member to meet the 8:30am bus. The person meeting Zayd will check everyone off the early bus, as the remaining students can walk to class independently.
IEP's are due next Friday. If you don’t think you will be able to get them completed in time please tell me so we can organise some additional time. IEP’s will commence being read by admin next Friday.
There is a lip in the concrete that has formed that can made it dangerous for students using scooters. This has been reported, and it turns out that the issue has been caused by the tree adjacent to the pathway. Unfortunately, anything involving trees (other than superficial pruning) must be referred to the department, who will then send someone out to investigate and determine what a possible solution is. This means we will just have to wait until this is done. In the event the path becomes too unsafe we may need to block this part of the path.
Every staff member has access to our term planners/calendar electronically. This is in the calendar part of your emails. You will be able to see it when you click on your calendar.
You will be able to add and view things. If anyone is unable to access this or is unsure how to use this please come up and see me.
As we continue to develop our curriculum and assessment tools, it is most useful if staff are able to access these items all the time. We have developed a staff log in section on our website – that is password protected. The password is Joondalup.esc We will continue to build content in the coming weeks.
Harmony Week and Ride to School Day
Information will be sent out very soon. Please talk to Sean and Carol P If you would like to volunteer for a job. There is nothing too complicated required.
Please remember to place your Honour Certificate recipients at the end of the carpet roll, closest to the middle aisle, so they can walk up to the stage as quickly as possible. The next assembly is week 6.
We are holding the ANZAC Day ceremony on Thursday 6 April 2023 which is the last day of the term. Anzac Day is on the Tuesday 25 April and whilst we will be at school on Monday 24 April (first day of Term 2) Rhys doesn’t work on Mondays and we need his choral skills!
Importantly classrooms need to do some key learning about Anzac Day in the lead up to the ceremony and at the beginning of Term 2.
I will send an agenda out today about our meeting on Tuesday. I am hopeful to have the year planner of meetings to share with you.
Jade Martin, Kane Hronsky and Sonia Cleary do not have department email addresses. As a consequence they do not receive any whole school emails we send out, nor will you be able to find them in our email directory.
Here are their email addresses; if you are emailing everyone, please consider adding these to your email.
Jade Martin: admin@physiotherapyinmotionperth.com.au
Kane Hronksy: kane.hronsky@gmail.com
Sonia Cleary: soniacleary@westnet.com.au
