Swimming lessons this year have changed. Unfortunately HBF Arena Joondalup will not have functionally facilities ready for when we are booked in. As an alternative we have secured lessons at Craigie Leisure Centre. Our dates and lesson times have changed, and there is a tight amount of time to get from school to our lessons and back. At this stage, we will not be changing students into school clothes at Craigie. Students will need to return to school on the bus in their bathers, and then get changed back at school.
Sensorium commences Friday 11 Aug for those middle/upper primary classes.
Jan has given a timetable out. The sessions will be held in the drumming room in B Block.
We have decided to get rid of the big interactive whiteboard in the staff room as it is not reliable. It does work for basic things – and is too good to throw away, but too unreliable for us at school. If anyone knows of an organisation that could use it, or wants it please let me know.
Hannah Poulter is returning to Joondalup!!
Hannah will be returning to Joondalup as a teacher from 2024. She will be on leave for the beginning of the 2024 school year, hopefully we will see her around school soon.
IEP’s are due by the end of week 4, however if they are complete earlier please let us know. We will read over them, save them to S Drive and print them out. They can be sent home and signed. Once signed by parents please bring them up and we will sign them too. You can then take a copy of the signed IEP to send home to parents, and we will keep the original for filing here in the office. Many families do not necessarily sign or return the IEP’s, this is ok, as long as they have been sent home and have had the opportunity to send them back.
