Therapy has started! Please remember to drop students off and pick them up from J Block on time.

If you are on Middle School duty, could you please support Kindy duty staff to move on older kids from the Kindy playground by just coming past that way a couple of times. This week has seen an increased number of older students trying to get into the Kindy playground at recess and lunch. If you are in Juniors and are able to head them off or redirect them from coming through the back walkway, that would be helpful too please.

Sean will be case managing all student plans this year… and there are a lot! There will be behaviour, attendance, and support plans, and versions of for lots of students. This year we would also like to reduce the need for 1 to 1 duties in the playground. For this to happen we will need to work on a plan so those on duty know how to shape the behaviours of students, so we are no longer needed out there.

Koby has a support worker who drops him off at school and stays until Koby goes home. Due to the heat she has been sitting in the staff room with head phones on/doing other work. This is just an FYI if you see a young lady in there, it is likely to be Koby’s support worker.

NAPLAN for the Primary School will commence on Wednesday 13^th March, and conclude on Monday 18^th March. During this time please try and limit the need to transition around the school. If you are doing outdoor activities please make sure you are in areas away from C Block, D Block and H Block. Carol Perry will let us know when testing has finished each day.

Jan will be taking LSL from week seven until the end of the term.

Emergency evacuation drill

We will be having an emergency evacuation drill on Friday 8^th March at 2.15pm. Please prepare for this, and talk to the students about it. We don’t foresee the drill will take very long.

Emergency lock down drill

We will have a lock down drill on Thursday 18^th April at 10:15am (Term two). Again please prepare yourselves and students for this drill. It shouldn’t take too long.
