*Garden Club Thursdays Weeks 2-9 in Term 3

The LED Lighting Upgrade will begin again on Monday 19 August, this will impact on B Block, C Block, D Block, Library and external security lights. The works will be scheduled around when classrooms are not being used. 

We will be having a financial audit all week next week. Antoinette will most likely be with the auditor for a large proportion of the week, and may not be available all the time.

He will be using one of the offices in the staffroom.

At our teacher meeting on Wednesday we made the decision that relief teachers are not to contact parents directly to let them know of an injury or incident that has happened. If a parent needs to be contacted during the day please let admin know. This is for all current relief staff, regardless of if they have worked at the school before or not. If you are unsure of what to do, always come up to the office. Kellie will be letting the relief staff know about this procedure too.

Massive thank you to those who have made soup over the last couple of weeks. It has been such a lovely thing to walk into the staff room and smell, especially during these cold days and swimming! There is an opportunity each Wednesday if you want to make something to share. Please also feel free to use the bread rolls that are often in the bags in the staffroom from breakfast club.

We are going to shift assembly time and day next year. It will move to a Friday morning, from 8:55am – 9:25am sharp.

Please see below image regarding the musical equipment outside K Block. On the left-hand side inside the sensory room there's two switches. Top one is for outside lights, bottom one for external power plugs. If the power plugs are switched off, the music equipment won't work. They've now been labelled.

Please do not switch off the external power plugs.

• There is a student disco on Friday 30 August. It is free for tickets – encourage families to book and come along. Families can stay with our students. If as a staff member you are interested in staying for the evening you are most welcome. The quieter session will be from 6.30-7.15pm.
• The Father’s Day stall will be running on 27 and 29 August before school in the undercover area.
