I have attached both the power point presentation and the data sets that have been given to us. Thank you to those who have volunteered and agreed to be part of the next step in our process. Laura Martin will be in on Monday replacing people as they go to the session. This is part of a bigger plan, which is to create a plan/document where we have identified strategies to support ourselves and each other to be mentally well and resilient.

Quick guide.

Chronicle entries. If there are multiple plans for the same thing (e.g. Behaviour Plans) in the chronicle summary, click on a plan.

Go to the down pointing arrow in the top right hand side and a drop down menu will appear.

Click on ‘unpin’ to take it off the top bar (please do this for all out of date/not relevant plans). This will not delete the plan but will remove it from the chronicle summary.

If the plans expiry date is coming up, change this by clicking the ‘change pin expiry date’ option.

Attached is a procedure about how our resources and accessioned, borrowed and returned. Please make sure if you buy something that is not a consumable (as in it can be used multiple times and by multiple students) please let Ruth know so it can be accessioned and added to Sortly.

When borrowing items you must borrow it using the Sortly app. Please do not just “borrow” things for a short amount of time with the intention of returning it before anyone notices… there are a number of items we have already “lost” as people have taken them without using the app.

The Joondalup Learning Community (JLC) host a large array of PL opportunities held after school on Tuesdays. They are generally held at Belridge Secondary College. When they come up I will share the information, they are free and are only open to schools within the JLC.

Towards the end of the term we will be putting information out about the annual Easter Bonnet parade. Some classes make these in class, some families make them at home. The P&C will also launch the Easter raffle soon, and will send information out to classrooms.

Reminder that newsletters will only be sent out in weeks 5 and 10 from now on, as families are getting updated constantly through Seesaw and Compass.

Please ensure that specialist classes have added your insert to the drive by Friday 28 February 2025. As mentioned previously, we do not have a class roster this year. If classes would like anything added, you can include an insert at any time.

For those wanting one, the flu vaccines will be available at school on Thursday 15 May 2025. We are starting the vaccinations at 7:30am, more session times will open up once that 30 minute block has been filled. With that in mind, if you have a preferred time you would like, keep checking back to see when that session opens up. The booking link will be open until Thursday 8 May.
